The Tampa Alumni Guide Right Foundation Scholarship Program

The Tampa Alumni Guide Right Foundation Scholarship Program is open to Hillsborough County, high school students interested in pursuing post-secondary education or vocational certification. We are awarding five (5) scholarships of $2,000 each, with a minimum of one per category:

Academic

Athletics

Leadership

Community Service

Scholarship Applications are now closed

All applications must be submitted online and prior to the deadline. Awarded applicants will be notified on or before May 15, 2025, and will be recognized at The Robert W. Irvin Scholarship Luncheon, scheduled to be held in June.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Resident of Hillsborough County
  • Graduating high school senior
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (unweighted)
  • Completed online application
  • Demonstrated accomplishment in the selected scholarship category
  • 500-750 word essay
  • Enrollment in an accredited institution of
    higher education by Sept 1, 2025.

Scholarship for academics

A $2,000 award intended for a student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

A $2,000 award intended for a student who had demonstrated significant service to their community and/or involvement in community service programs and projects.
